We must understand
that poetry
is just a relocation of the objects
and nothing more is required of it
and when we want more,
it becomes more,
but - less, than a poetry.

compromise - by Paata Shamugia
I believe, I saw the God
standing in front of post office,
he held my book and a bottle of vodka.
I believe, that all of these makes no difference
and order of subjects will remain unchanged.
I believe, that poetry
will become crime chronics
and at the end of the news
anchors will rhyme story of bank robbery
or murder over jelaousy
or suspicious behavior of Justin Bieber
and more suspicious career of his
and the weather forecast
will be the aesthetical piece of Bucolic poetry
I believe, that love,
sometimes, really exists,
like when your kiss enriches
exclusive history of my body
I believe, that in our time
acting evil
is boring
and only depressive bankers practice it.
I believe, that man can,
die several times in one day
(without perspective of revival) ,
which is not a honorable behavior.
I believe, that death is shameful compromise,
and that is why I don’t believe in those,
who managed, to die.
Switching Places - by Paata Shamugia
Hey, God, let’s switch places!
You take mine,
and I'll take yours -- I'll be the God.
It's not so hard as it seems.
You just have to lose some weight,
Change your hair, make it longer,
Wear some keds, smoke three packs a day.
It’s a little boring, but
you’ll have to play smart
(Don’t ruin my image, I've worked so hard for it).
You'll wake up in old campus every morning,
and time after time will get calls
from your temporary father (my former father).
It's O.K. if he lectures you
for not working,
you'll get used to it.
Meanwhile I'll pet angels,
learn Godlike manners
and watch Earth from
the ozone hole.
If I want to change some things,
I could change some things.
If I existed.
